Katie received her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Utah and has been a practicing Occupational Therapist for the last 16 years. She has 11 years of experience in acute rehab, as well as, neuro-rehabilitation. She has evaluated and treated patients with neurological impairments including: TBI, concussion, spinal cord injury, ALS, MS, brain tumors, stroke, Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Anoxic brain injuries, Carbon Monoxide poisoning, and subarachnoid hemorrhage.
Katie is most interested in learning how to best treat those with brain injuries and help them return to a more functional and independent life. 5 years ago she started working for Cognitive FX, the Premier Center for Concussion Treatment, as a Neuro- Occupational Therapist. Working at Cognitive FX she helps those that are suffering from post-concussion syndrome, Stroke, ADHD, and anoxic brain injuries.
"There are various groups that develop brain games and activities intending to enhance brain function, but we're not one of them. We've designed our tool with a focus on those who are determined to rehabilitate their cognitive abilities after suffering from brain injuries. The task of regaining your cognitive efficiency after a debilitating injury can be incredibly daunting. We started our journey determined to make that task easier for everyone."

Jacob currently leads organizational transformation efforts throughout 15 hospitals and numerous practices utilizing lean principles. He helps organizations create stronger alignment by leading the development of their organizational strategies. His primary focus and research is on human behavior in the workplace and the systems that reinforce optimal behavior.
Jacob has coached and trained over 100 companies and addressed thousands of people in keynotes, seminars, and workshops throughout North America and over 20 countries worldwide. He speaks to corporate and public audiences on the subjects of behavior, leadership roles & responsibilities, cultural transformation, and how to achieve enterprise excellence with the right behavior, systems and long-term results.
He has conducted high level consulting assignments within various industries in strategic mobilization and organizational development. Companies include General Motors, 3M, Perrigo, Boeing, MayoClinic, Trinity Healthcare, GE Energy, Goodyear Tire, and others.
